Print labels that land exactly where they should

Adhesive label sheets only work when the printed text falls inside each label, and that depends on precise measurements: the page size, the number of columns and rows, the size of each label, the margins around the grid and the small gaps between labels. This label maker stores those measurements for popular sheets such as Avery 5160, 5163, 5164 and 22805 on US Letter paper, and Avery L7160 and L7163 on A4. Pick one, type your text and the preview shows a full sheet with every label in its true position. The PDF is drawn with the same numbers in millimetres, so what you see is the layout your printer receives.

You can fill the sheet in two ways. For mailing lists, write each address as a short block and separate the blocks with a blank line — every block becomes one label, in order. For product stickers, return labels or name tags, choose "Same text on every label" and either enter a number of labels or fill the entire sheet. If you already used part of a sheet, set the start position and the tool skips the labels that are gone, so you do not waste the remaining ones.

Tips for clean, aligned printing

Always print the PDF at 100 percent, also called "Actual size". Options such as "Fit to page" or "Shrink oversized pages" resize the whole sheet and push labels out of position. Turn on the label outlines option and print a test page on plain paper, then hold it over a real label sheet in front of a light to confirm the alignment. If a row drifts slightly, adjust the top or left margin by a fraction of a millimetre under "Sheet layout" and test again. Choose a font size that leaves a little padding; a label that is too full is cut off, and the tool tells you when that happens.

Custom sizes and private by design

Presets use the nominal sizes published for each product, and manufacturers occasionally revise their templates, so verify an unusual sheet with a test print. For any other product, select a custom layout and enter your own measurements; the tool warns you if the labels would not fit on the page. Because the whole process runs in your browser, your address lists are never uploaded or stored on a server, and there is no account to create. Download the PDF, print it and keep your data to yourself.

  2. Enter the label textWrite a different address on each label (separated by a blank line) or print the same text on every label.
  3. Adjust the lookSet the font size, alignment and padding, and use the start position if the sheet is already partly used.

Frequently asked questions

Are my addresses uploaded anywhere?
No. The layout and the PDF are created entirely in your browser, so names and addresses never leave your device.
Why do my labels not line up when I print?
Print the PDF at 100% or 'Actual size' and turn off 'Fit to page' or 'Shrink to fit'. Printer drivers that scale the page shift every label. Do a test print on plain paper first and hold it against a label sheet to a light.
Can I use a sheet that is not in the list?
Yes. Choose 'Custom layout' or edit any value under 'Sheet layout'. Measure the page size, label size, margins and gaps in millimetres from the sheet or from the manufacturer's template.
How do I reuse a half-used sheet?
Set 'Start at label #' to the first unused position (labels are numbered left to right, then top to bottom) and the tool skips the labels already used.
Are accented or non-Latin characters supported?
Standard Western European accents work. The built-in PDF font does not cover other alphabets such as Cyrillic, Greek or CJK, so those characters may not print.
